Samantha Soma joined GE in 2011 as the UX Community Lead, fresh from getting a Ph.D. focused on conflict resolution and community development. Now a Design Facilitator, she runs customer co-creation and design strategy workouts for GE Digital, helping cross-functional teams understand real world problems and the people that have them, and discovering new ways to use design to solve them. Samantha’s eclectic background has equipped her with a uniquely diverse set of skills, including mediation, design research, and team-building.
