We are lucky to have so many wonderful sponsors and exhibitors at this year’s DesignOps Summit–and we thought you might like to get to know them better! We’ve asked all of them some questions in the coming weeks that get at the heart of why they’re passionate about DesignOps, what it’s like to work with them, and what makes their products and services special to Design and Research Operations professionals.

NEXT UP: Anna Boyarkina, HEAD OF PRODUCT AT MIRO

Rosenfeld Media: Why are you sponsoring this year’s DesignOps Summit?

Anna Boyarkina: At this year’s DesignOps, we’re really excited to discuss and tackle core questions around how the design and research systems built at companies best maximize quality, efficiency and collaboration for designers. Communication and collaboration practices are key to master in design ops, but also really complex! We think visual collaboration is one avenue to start building these better systems.

Rosenfeld Media: What excites you about Design and Research Operations?

Anna Boyarkina: Design and Research Ops are key for product-led companies to have high-quality collaboration and output by their designers and researchers. It’s great that Rosenfeld Media is creating a dedicated space to tackle a field that requires a careful balance between maintaining quality with growth and efficiency of design and research teams.

Rosenfeld Media: What is it like for Design and Research Operations people to work at your company/organization?

Anna Boyarkina: At Miro, we prioritize organizational agility and cross-functional collaboration. We often think about how product, design, and marketing teams can link their user-centric skills and knowledge to bring new insights about our users to the forefront.

Rosenfeld Media: What types of value and benefits does your product bring to the practice and our community?

Anna Boyarkina: Miro uses visual collaboration to enable and empower efficient, creative and aligned design and research work. Tech companies, large consultancies, and consumer goods industries tend to be where we see the most traction, but the need for “feeling like you are in the same room” when you’re working with someone across the world is growing in all industries and across all departments.

Rosenfeld Media: What else should our community know about you?

Anna Boyarkina: We’re hiring! We’re growing our Amsterdam product engineering team, from product and research to design roles. Join us!
