Your acceptance of our privacy policy

By using this site or otherwise signing up for one of our conferences, you agree to the collection and use by Rosenfeld Media LLC of your personal information (PI) as described in this policy. If we make any significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email, or by posting a notice of such changes on the site.

What we collect about you that is personally identifiable

We may collect your name, email address, password, and other information that you specifically provide to us to set up your account, which information can be revised and deleted by you. We also collect information about your job (company, job title, and contact information). All passwords are stored on our server in encrypted form. We also collect information you provide us in response to our inquiries; for example, (1) your comments and information in response to online surveys, (2) names and contact information for individuals you have referred to us, and (3) other information you have elected to provide while signing up for or participating in one of our conferences. This is an “opt-in” policy with regards to PI we collect from you.

Other data we collect which is not personally identifiable

We collect information regarding use of the site while signing up for a conference, such as login information, computer-related information (for example, browser type you used, your Internet Protocol address, last URL visited, and the date and time of day of your login). We send a “cookie” or “pixel tag” to your computer that contains an identification number that is unique to the computer you are using. You may decline to provide such information to us and/or refuse cookies in your browser, although some of our features or services may not function properly as a result.

How we use PI and other data

We use the information we gather to enhance the experience of attending one of our conferences, including to customize advertising and to communicate with our conference attendees about information relating to the conference and its sponsors. We may also use the information we gather to communicate with you about future events, products, and services we believe may be of interest to you. You are free to opt-out of receiving such communications; to do so, please contact us at info@prod.rm.gfolkdev.net.

Disclosure of PI

We may disclose PI in three ways:

  1. When required by law.
  2. We share your name, employer, and job title with conference sponsors and vendors. This does not include contact information (such as your phone number or email address).
  3. If you opt in, we share your contact information (such as your phone number or email address) with conference sponsors and vendors. You may opt out of our providing this information to conference sponsors and vendors at any time and we will stop sharing your contact information at that time. Third party web sites and conference sponsors and vendors

On our website there are links to other web sites, apps, and material, some of which is not owned or controlled by Rosenfeld Media LLC (such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn), which are governed by their own privacy policies. You should review the privacy policies for those other web sites, apps, and materials before deciding to share information with them.
