We are lucky to have so many wonderful sponsors and exhibitors at this year’s Advancing Research conference–and we thought you might like to get to know them better! We’ve asked all of them some questions in the coming weeks that get at the heart of why they’re passionate about ResearchOps, what it’s like to work with them, and what makes their products and services special to Design and Research Operations professionals.

BASEL FAKHOURY, CO-FOUNDER AND CEO AT USER INTERVIEWS

Rosenfeld Media: Why are you sponsoring the Advancing Research conference?

Basel Fakhoury: At User Interviews we live and breathe user research. Research is evolving and growing so fast that it’s fascinating to learn how different companies organize and embed research into their organizations. Advancing Research is a great conference to hear about the cutting edge in research.

Rosenfeld Media: What excites you about Research and/or Research Operations?

Basel Fakhoury: I think Research and ResearchOps is in a very fun place, where companies are just starting to standardize it and figure out how it is integrated in their processes. It’s really exciting to see a movement take off and to watch different people experiment and share ideas around research.

Rosenfeld Media: What is your company culture like and who are the champions?

Basel Fakhoury: We’re a fully remote team with a culture built on trust, experimentation, data, and user-centricity. We love entrepreneurial self-starters who can take risks and who believe in listening to users!

Rosenfeld Media: What types of value and benefits does your product bring to the practice and our community?

Basel Fakhoury: We’re able to find niche participants for research studies extremely fast, and have the first user research specific CRM to manage research with existing users.

Rosenfeld Media: What else should our community know about you?

Basel Fakhoury: I love to talk to researchers and share theories on how I think research’s place in organizations will change and grow. If there are any tools you wish you had please let me know and maybe we’ll build them. 🙂
